For 19 years, the Subcarpathian Branch of PTK and Medyk Medical Center have been organizing World Heart Day. The event was originally held at the Podhalańczyk Stadium, and for 10 years at the Rzeszów Market Square.
On this day, in addition to an extensive artistic program, we give participants the opportunity to perform free tests and consult with specialists. Lectures on the stage are given by cardiologists. There is an emergency services show, artistic and sports performances and concerts. Promotion of a healthy lifestyle take place. Every year, hundreds of inhabitants of Rzeszów take part in the event, and with evry passing year more and more medical institutions from the region are also involved.
